Diane Balzer Herzstein, CMP
Diane is an independent destination management consultant and travel director professional who
is available for full project management or to supplement your team efforts in pre-planning
and on-site logistics and operations support in the San Francisco Bay area and beyond
She has a broad range of management experience in the customer service, destination management,
hospitality and meeting/incentive industries. Diane's energetic and positive approach to any task

Diane has produced programs up to $1.5 million for corporations, non-profit associations,
private groups and sports organizations that range up to 27,000 attendees.
Diane possesses an extensive knowledge of local, regional, statewide and international areas.
She is familiar and maintains longstanding, productive, and ethical relationships with Convention & Visitor Bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, corporate contacts, hotels, suppliers and vendors.
In 2006, Diane received her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the
Convention Industry Council. The CMP certification is based on professional experience
and academic examination. In 1998, she received her Travel Director Professional Certification
from the International Travel Management Institute.
